Hosting and staging properties
With over 2 decades of investing in property the real reward came when I flipped my mindset and started hosting.
The early 2000s saw property prices double and even triple in record time. I was lucky enough to invest in my first few properties before the crash in 2008. I’ve enjoyed managing property for over two decades.
But the real reward came in 2017 when I started a new project with my children called - ‘Spend Like A Mouse And Buy A House’. They were 7 and 11 years old and raised to be entrepreneurs. My son was a chicken farmer, and my daughter had a food stall. They understood the business basics, and it was time to teach them about investing. We aimed to buy a house within a year, and that was exactly what we did.
It usually takes a property about six years to pay for itself. But we immediately started the renovation process and got it to pay itself within nine months. We then went on to double the property’s value over three years while living for free.
Hosting and staging properties provides me with a healthy outlet for my creativity. Its diversity integrates my passions for design, entrepreneurship, client relationship management and hospitality.
Flip !t was born when I discovered carpentry in 2016 and the joy of creating my own furniture pieces. Sentiment, aesthetics, and practicality drove me to create my own decor and furniture pieces.
I'm here to create and serve, turning obstacles into launching pads.
